The first of which, on September 24, 2012 I found out this party of two was going to be a party of three! Pure bliss - with a little anxiety on the side. A baby was inside of me? Oh, that's why I've been feeling so crappy... After a delightful dinner discussing baby names and our new life, we decided to celebrate and buy Baby White something special. Everything at Target was pink or blue so, we ended up with some dazzling grey socks. We're too practical for our own good sometimes.
I could describe every event in exquisite detail... but let's face it. No one reads blogs. They look at them. For someone who writes as a career, this is a little demeaning, but hey, I'm guilty to. So enjoy a load of pictures, a few captions, and our life for the past 6 months in sunny San Clemente. Life Is Good!

Halloween
My least favorite holiday ever. This year, we carved a pumpkin that lasted two days and then did nothing on Halloween. I contemplated dressing up as a law school widow, but wait, that's what I wear everyday.

Our Two Year Anniversary
On this night, I legitimately surprised Michael with a weekend getaway to Coronado. Can you believe it? The man would have never guessed. First stop, BBQ, then a visit to the Hotel Del Coronado, a penny to remember it by, the San Diego Mission (not as cool as we thought it would be), and couldn't help but stop by my old high school. We're artsy. We create tile wall art.
A White Christmas!
In addition to announcing our baby, we spent a lot of time holding little Harper Ann Carter, the newest addition to the family, hit up the music and the spoken word with Mandi's family, had a 1970's Christmas feast (complete with Grandma's homemade mac 'n cheese casserole and pistachio salad), and so much more...
The mister and the seester.
The Feast - 1970's style
How gross does that dollop of gravy look! I should never be a food photographer.
Michael gave me my first ornament.. a tradition that will last a lifetime. This year the theme was "bun in the oven." Get it?
My little niece's first Christmas.
The Christmas Miracle
Michael's stache. Can you see it? No? It's OK. We just pretend it's there.
And of course, precious baby Harper.
Stay tuned for the next three months... I know I promised six, but that's not happening.
I've been waiting for this:) keep posting!
